Our Black Bird pasta bowl is painted on the inside and rim and is natural terra cotta on the outside. The bowl measures 11 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall. It is a great size for serving salads , pastas and much more.this is one of our most versatile and popular shapes. Black Bird is one of our most popular patterns. The rich, dark brown is the natural color of the clay. The bird and branch are painted in a deep cobalt black and then I use a squeeze bottle with a pen tip to draw the ivory outline. It has a very folkloric feel.

All of our work is lead free and nontoxic. It is safe for eating and cooking. Oven, dishwasher and microwave reheatable (5 minutes or less, be careful when removing as it will be hot). Do not broil.
