Romany Butter Dish. A classic covered butter dish with a twisted loop handle. These butter dishes measure 4 inches tall and 5 by 9 inches wide. They fit both the standard and the longer European butters. The handle makes it easy to remove the top even if your fingers get buttery.
The background color is a rich cobalt black. It has a wreath of golden yellow large flowers with small golden orange flowers. There is a small butterfly flying around. It is a lush color combo.
The Romany pattern is inspired by eastern European decorative art. In my mind I see people gathered around a fire playing fiddle music.......
Romany Butter Dish
All of our work is lead free and nontoxic. It is safe for eating and cooking. Oven, dishwasher and microwave reheatable (5 minutes or less, be careful when removing as it will be hot). Do not broil.
We try to get the colors as close as possible on the computer but all monitors have a different cast so colors may vary on the screen.
